"My dear, I'm afraid that the head injury was fatal," Lara stated unemotionally.
"Fatal? What are you talking about?" Kitty blustered. "Fatal means dead!"
Kitty backed away and raised her arms in protest. The two strange women watched her in silence.
"Are you saying that I'm dead? How can I be dead? I'm standing here talking to you. Dead people don't talk!" Kitty screamed. "Answer me, dammit! Who are you, and why are you doing this to me?"
Lara shook her head sadly.
"Answer meeeee!" Kitty shrieked and collapsed in a sobbing heap.
