Before Eterra was a prison-world of iron, silence, and buried memory, there was Thalerys.

Thalerys, the Blue Motherworld, was a radiant civilization of crystal seas, floating cities, open heavens, and living harmony between mind, matter, and world. Its people, the Ancient Elders, had mastered the great arts of resonance, architecture, and memory. For ages they believed beauty, wisdom, and balance would endure.

They were wrong.

When the Anuns descend from the outer dark, they do not come as conquerors alone. They come as harvesters of worlds. Their arrival shatters the illusion that splendor can protect itself, and the fall of Thalerys begins beneath a sky that had never before known true fear.

At the heart of this catastrophe stands Thalyra, one of the greatest listeners and world-builders of her age. She is not merely an architect of towers and cities, but a keeper of deeper harmonies, one of the few capable of hearing what still lives beneath ruin. Beside her stands Seredh, bright-hearted, courageous, and unwilling to surrender the soul of a people even when survival begins demanding terrible compromises.

As the Motherworld is broken, the old certainties collapse with it. Councils fracture. Beauty becomes vulnerable. Mercy begins to war with necessity. And those who remain must answer an impossible question: how much of the light may be sacrificed so that life itself does not vanish?

To preserve what can still be saved, Thalyra and her companions must carry seed, memory, and the living patterns of a doomed civilization into exile. In secret depths and wounded stone, they begin the making of another world: Eterra, a hidden refuge born not from triumph, but from grief, endurance, and defiant hope. Yet even as they build, a darker argument takes shape among the survivors. If open beauty called destruction down upon Thalerys, then perhaps concealment, dimming, and silence are the only future left.
