このコンテンツについて

A human being's mind is an amazing tool capable of thinking, learning, memory, problem-solving, adaptation, and logical interpretation of the turmoil that is experienced. Two of the most complex and fascinating domains of research in the science of psychology, cognition and intelligence help us to understand how the mind functions in both ordered and unstructured surroundings.

Though they are commonly seen as two separate realms, cognition and intelligence are closely entwined. This is so because every discipline emphasizes fundamental elements of human potential, adaptability, and our responses to our surroundings. More generally, cognition may be described as the mental process of knowledge and understanding acquisition. Under this heading include perception, attention, and memory, language, problem-solving, decision-making, and reasoning.

Thanks to these systems—available both consciously and unconsciously—people may absorb inputs, grow from experience, make future goals, and participate in abstract cognition. Conversely, intelligence is sometimes characterized as the ability to learn information, reason, adapt to new conditions, and properly use cognitive capacities.
