After losing past battles to the Dyer family, Laris has one last chance to complete Lilith's demonic demands and disguises his possession as insanity.
Two cousins, Garren hailing from the mountains of West Virginia, and Brodie from the flatlands of Southern Maryland, reunite the Dyer family at a hunting camp in the Potomac Highlands; the dark entity Laris doesn't care where they came from, because he knows them as the descendants of Moll Dyer, his old enemy. Three of the cousins' friends oppose the ancient evil: Anna, a hesitant Native American spiritualist, Lenore, a teenager just discovering her shape-shifting abilities, and Bridget, a teenage girl with too much to lose...and plenty to gain. The hero triumvirate, with the help of Anna's spirit guide, embark on a life and death challenge to save their friends from the encroaching darkness. Should some truths remain untold? Can some sins ever be forgiven?
If you loved The Shining, you'll love Sons and Brothers. The last in the trilogy, this stand-alone tale continues the tradition of its multi-award-winning predecessors in the Legends of the Family Dyer.
