あらすじ・解説
Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is the unforgettable story of the life of Jesse Livermore, one of Wall Street's greatest ever stock speculators.
Loosely fictionalised in 1923 in collaboration with journalist Edwin Lefevre, this is the story of the highs and the lows, the strategies and the street smarts, the epic wins (and sometimes epic losses) that has inspired generations of investors and traders.
This edition comes with an exclusive foreword by Tim Price, author of Investing Through the Looking Glass.
Harriman Definitive Editions offer the best quality editions of the best financial books of all time. Meticulously proofread, accompanied by forewords by the best modern financial writers, they are essential long-term additions to the portfolio of every investor and trader.

Just Extremely Excercised Excellence
Exceptionally Witty, Intelligent & Humerous. Loved It! And the narrator is coffee to the ears.

History can still be entertaining
I thought this book would be predictable and dry! Boy was I wrong great narration and was intrigued the whole way through!

Maybe I've missed the point but..
I was looking forward to learn new things which Inwould use in stock investing but only a few first chapters and last two chapters were at least a bit interesting in this direction. If I would knew it I wouldn't buy it. It is rather a good bed time story. One up on wall st. by Peter Lynch is still (one of) the best I can recommend. Plus Dandho Investor ;-)

Not Sure I Understand
I am not sure I understand why so many people give this book such high marks. It was painful to listen to the whole book.
Inherently, I am an investor and not a trader so these speculating principles do not resonate with me. But even if I was a speculator, there is no substance to this book. There is no character development and the strategies are so generalized that they are useless.
I learned nothing from this book.

Must read
The story i superb. One can learm much about the stock market (for me it was not to be a speculator bit a fundamentalist - suply and demand is THE KEY in this busines). The narrator was dull and Boeing. No emotions, He should rather read books for children before sleep than this kind of books.

timeless book
I was unsure about listening to this because it was written so long ago, but there was no need to worry. it's still relevant and it's a great book.

A good teaching book on the markets
In this book we learned about the markets about 100 years ago. The activities of the traders then seem to be similar to the traders now. Their patterns of action seem to be similar to the patterns of action now. As Won listens to the book he lets us know how we should behave if we are in the markets now. The author seems to be knowledgeable of the markets. If you listen carefully to the book many good lessons will be learned. The book is cited by many. Since it has lasted nearly a century and continues to be cited, it is likely a solid book. A prudent investor should read Or listen to it. This listening was my second time through the book.

Quite dull
I bought this, I sold that, I traded this, I traded that. It didn't get much more interesting than that and I maybe learned a thing or two about trading in the early 1900s but I didn't think it was a particularly interesting or inspiring story.

Can recommend if your interested of traiding
I think it was really interesting to hear how has stock trading been on the beginning 1900. Book was well writen and reader was good also. Only thing that I didn’t like was that the book was jumping back and forth on the timeline and made it hard to realise that which part of the persons life it is now.

An all time classic
This is a trading book that you can go back to again and again and learn something new each time.
Overall a great read although it loses steam during the last quarter of the book. You love the first 3/4 of it but a bit slow towards the latter. Still rate it highly.

Awesome!!
Great book! Enticing story telling and took away a lot of valuable information about trading. Book is based on the trading life of Jesse Livermore in the early 1900’s but the lessons taught in this book still apply to modern day trading.

overhyped, focused on story, not very relevant in modern day tradi g
The book is more focused on the story of the author. Overall its okay. You can learn something from how the institutions trade. But it’s a bit outdated since the market conditions on the story is way too old.
