People say, if I forgive that means I approve of what they did, and I don’t condone what they did…so I’m not forgiving them.
The Lord did not condone the crucifixion—but He forgave those who crucified Him. Likewise, we don’t have to condone wrong doing but we do have to forgive wrong doers. We have to separate the sin from the sinner.
The Lord said, “I will forgive whom I will forgive, but of you it is required to forgive all men”.
