In debt and desperate to escape the clutches of her landlord, Bonnie Sinclair sneaks out of her home in the middle the night and heads west as a mail order bride. She has been assured that Amos Colt is a good man, and he is certainly from a good family. But when Bonnie arrives with an unexpected child, rescued after being abandoned by its mother, Amos is in for two surprises.
