A pleasant surprise
I had read this book before and enjoyed it. The problem I have in these cases is that the narration can be a disappointment, likely because I have made up my own mind about how the characters should sound when speaking. This performance was a pleasant surprise. It was not exactly as I had imagined things, but better, and the characters felt truly alive. Thank you for this audiobook.
