Norman P. Grubb
Many Christians mistake 'intercession' as a form of heightened prayer, but Norman Grubb corrects this misunderstanding in this short booklet. Intercession is, rather, the Great Intercessor, Christ, laying down His life that others may live through any willing vessels. Detailing the five great commissions of his life, the author explains the death-resurrection principle whereby 'death works in us, but life in you.' The listener follows Norman through the five commissions of his life: his bold witnessing to his battalion during World War I, the founding of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, translating the New Testament as a missionary to the Congo, thirty-five years as Secretary of the WEC, and his final intercession, his commission to bring the real truth of Galatians 2:20 to the Church. Norman Grubb tells his extraordinary story and demonstrates, in his words, 'the wonderful operations of the Holy Spirit by which He was Himself in action in my human form.'
