Eli never asked for an adventure, but he wasn't given much of a choice after getting tossed into the magical prison world of Lurra, filled with superpowered humans who don't know their ancestors were locked away thousands of years ago by near-immortal jailers that many now worship as gods.

To make matters worse, the experimental implant in Eli's head is malfunctioning, causing a series of problems that could quickly turn deadly, and the closest neurosurgeon might as well be a universe away.

If all that wasn't bad enough, one of Lurra's most dangerous inmates, the Demon of Eld Forest, senses Eli traveling through the area and is soon hunting his trail, intent on consuming the strange power locked inside him.

Fortunately, Eli is also in a mana-enriched environment for the first time in his life and begins developing some healing and destructive abilities of his own, which he'll certainly need, considering the assassins, monsters, and worse crossing his path.

Eyes of the Sign is the first book in a portal fantasy series, featuring epic world-building, LitRPG elements, systems, power progression, political factions, intrigue, and the many mysteries surrounding humanity's origins to be uncovered during Eli's journey across the Greater Infinite.***Please note: This title underwent an additional edit in the summer of 2024 to prepare for its audiobook production, which made no substantial changes to the plot but corrected some awkward dialogue, explained a few concepts in greater detail, and improved the story's overall pacing.
