概要
The most authoritative philosophers and historians of science agree in stating that the Copernican revolution did not originate from astronomical motivations but from ideological reasons. Both Copernicus and Galileo shared the Pythagorean doctrine, with an anti-Christian background, even before developing the shaky astronomical model that symbolized it.
