The air is lethal in Altenbyrne.

To hide, they cross the treacherous Slaybyrne River where a ragged group of outlaws live. But Tristin isn’t satisfied with merely hiding while others still die from failing masks. He dreams of a better world. Using his secret God of Speed, he sneaks back into the city to steal life masks from the rich, a crime punishable by death.
