In a world of magic, monsters, and mayhem, Nadia finds herself reduced to a mere errand girl. A strange twist of fate tasks her with solving the murder of a dragon--or she'll be next on the chopping block. McCarthy excels at a variety of accents, smoothly portrays multiple genders, and captures the seductive tones of the dragons when they are in human form. Her narration transitions from humor to action to tenderness with aplomb. McCarthy is also perfect for the talented and dangerous Nadia while ensuring that the other colorful characters are just as dynamic.
