Billy’s advert for a mail-order bride by Christmas turns out to be just what both of them need - at least, that’s how it appears. But between Billy’s reluctance to let himself love again, Alice’s need for honesty, and a dastardly plot to take Billy’s farm from him by the New Year, things aren’t exactly going smoothly in Shallow Gorge.
