Starting tonight, Wednesday December 3rd, music lovers are in for a treat. The 93Q Star Party kicks off at 7 PM at 713 Music Hall in Houston, featuring Riley Green and Turnpike Troubadours for an incredible country music experience. If hip hop is more your speed, KODOKU is performing the Come As You Are Tour at White Oak Music Hall Upstairs, also starting at 7 PM. Both venues will be packed with energy and great vibes.
Thursday brings the Energy Corridor District Tree Lighting from 6 to 9 PM at the Hyatt Regency Houston West. This community celebration features live entertainment, local vendors, and festive decorations perfect for families or anyone new to the area looking to soak in some holiday spirit.
Friday December 5th is huge for holiday activities. Memorial Park's annual Deck the Park tree lighting ceremony kicks off the season, with the Clay Family Eastern Glades glowing with festive lights all month long. If you want something interactive, head downtown to Jingle Town at Lynn Wyatt Square in front of Jones Hall for live music, twinkling lights, and creative art installations.
Saturday December 6th brings even more holiday magic. Levy Park hosts its annual free Holiday Festival complete with a holiday market, crafts, and family activities. Over in Tomball just north of Houston, multiple events are happening including Commissioner Riley's Fun Day from 1 to 4 PM at Unity Park featuring pony rides, a petting zoo, and bounce houses. The Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights lights up the streets from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Unity Park in Magnolia with sparkling lights, music, and festive floats. Also in Tomball, Oliver Twist performances run throughout the day at Lone Star College Tomball Performing Arts Center with shows at 2 PM and 6 PM.
Sunday December 7th wraps up the weekend with the Museum of Fine Arts hosting their Family Art-Making Studio, Members Holiday Party, and a Winter Recital at Rienzi, plus the Christmas Village at Bayou Bend continues its festive run.
