Welcome to Simple Joe. I’m glad you’re here.
In this episode of Simple Joe for Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, I talk about one of the strangest creatures on the planet—the octopus. With three hearts, blue copper-based blood, and almost alien intelligence, these fascinating animals make me wonder if they’re really from Earth at all. From there, we head to the weather in La Banda, Argentina, remember birthdays like Walter Cronkite, Loretta Swit, and Matthew McConaughey, and look back on the day Howard Carter discovered King Tut’s tomb. We celebrate National Candy Day, Use Your Common Sense Day, National Skeptics Day, and Love Your Lawyer Day before diving into five random questions that range from impractical purchases to meals that remind me of home. It’s a fun, curious, and thoughtful Tuesday reminding us once again that memories are better than stuff.
