Who needs magic when you've got forklifts?
Most of this book was written between 2 and 6 AM, which will become VERY clear before you even make it a few minutes in.
Shinowe, the legendary mercenary, is literally bathing in the blood of her enemies alongside Dixie, the Texan, who is about to use more weapons than some nations use in a year. The battlefield? Facing off against the boys in a peeping war at the hot springs, with the princess about to be the first one to breach the dividing wall, taking revenge on Sparky, the foul-mouthed forklift operator whose insults don't just hurt emotionally, they hurt physically, thanks to special powers from the Goddess.
If you thought Alyxa's cat-girl accent was meowmorable, prepare yourself because volume four features frighteningly funny phrases for the newest feathered friend to join the fray like "Flock around and find out!"
So yeah, if you want some laughs cleverly disguised as a forklift-isekai rom-com, look no further. Unless you haven't heard volume one, then start there. Kinda important to know who everyone is. Oh, book two is also necessary to understand why Shinowe's even there in the first place. Book 3 was also good. I'm definitely recommending on listening to the other books first because they're good, not just because I'm the author who befits from sales, got it? I'm forklift-certified, so you can trust me!
Heart health warning: I hope you got your sticks and stones ready because some of the words may hurt you. Heck, I wrote the thing and still cried too and it wasn't just the sleep deprivation either.
