Logan Federico, 22, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, was visiting friends in Columbia, South Carolina, on May 3 when a career criminal broke into the home where she was staying with friends. Police say the killer, identified as 30-year-old Alexander Dickey, murdered her with a stolen gun Federico, a student at South Piedmont Community College, worked two jobs and had plans to transfer to the College of Charleston to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher.
