このコンテンツについて
Includes all four books in the Doing God's Work series, combining mythology, blasphemy, and rebellion in a sacrilegious corporate fantasy.
The God Market, book one:
The gods are real and incorporated. Providence is a profitable global industry.
For Loki, three hundred years is a long time to be trapped in divinity's answer to crap customer service, especially when the PR machine makes him out to be the bad guy. But that's what happens when you lose a war.
All he has to do to regain his godly powers is avoid the seers, outwit the executives, and win a rematch against public perception. Easy.
Too bad he's not the only one playing at espionage. When his chief executive's a narcissistic authoritarian and the combined might of the divine powers is ignoring humanity's problems, he's bound to aggravate some people—gods and mortals alike.
Eye of the Executive, book two:
Pissing off God comes with consequences, which should have been obvious in hindsight.
For Loki and Lucifer, it's a victory—and the least of their problems. Building an infernal army is a lot harder when trying to fit it around eight daily hours of mind-numbing labor, uncooperative fugitive deities, and competing layers of escalating sabotage. Even worse, behind its bland corporate veneer, Providence is anything but that: its deities brim with magic, secrets, and ancient scars. The career path is soul-destroying.
Under these sorts of conditions, someone has to hold management accountable...and Loki has scores to settle. Pissing off God was just the start, and office politics have never been more deadly. Gods may be many things, but safe isn't one of them.
Acting Up, book three:
Nobody sane would promote Loki to corporate leadership—which is why he has to do it himself.
All the better to oversee its downfall from within. But life at the top comes with its own set of challenges as divine tensions become public and Providence's carefully maintained circle of accountability begins to fail. Amid accelerating external threats, murky executive maneuvering, and the loss of a key asset, Loki, Lucifer, and their co-conspirators need the perfect plan. And they need it fast.
With Earth itself heading rapidly towards a point of no return, new secrets and strategies are ripe for the taking. It's only business, after all—and Loki will need every edge he can get.
Deicide, book four:
The plan is finally set: a divine, multi-pronged ambush targeting Providence where it's weakest.
Five gods. Five demons. Five simultaneous strategic executions. Against a brutal corporate autocracy, the odds are worth the risk.
But even as deities start falling, it becomes clear the company hasn't given up all its secrets. In the opening left behind, background forces converge, exposing other plans than Loki's. With the balance of power crashing, creation steers with it.
Now, Loki must defeat his target, grapple with multiple shifting fronts, and outwit prophecy yet again. All the threads are finally coming back together. Unfortunately, so is his reputation.
And that's when things start getting complicated.
