The high holidays are days of judgment. On Rosh Hashanah, every single person stands before God in judgment and their verdict is written, but left unsealed until the great and awesome day of Yom Kippur, when it is finalized and sealed. We take these days very seriously. There are all sorts of extra prayers and supplications designed to elicit repentance and atonement and expiation and cleansing which is so urgently needed during these days. We are trained to try to make a resolution that will put us on the path towards elevation and transformation. Our sages found an insight from this week's Parsha that serves as the best tactic to merit a good judgment. Humans are incapable of corruption-free Justice. God is completely just, in all of His ways. In this podcast, we learn the secret to best position ourselves for a good judgment.
