このコンテンツについて
Does work on the farm and small town upbringing prepare people for success in sports and life? Allen Berry and Brad Tolson, longtime local farmers and sports officials, coaches and fans tell some stories about growing up on the farm developing work ethic, teamwork, communication and problem solving skills (mixed in with some mischief!). Clips from previous podcasts with Dr. Andy Peterson (Director of Athletics at NWMSU), Mark Curp (Former World Record Holder in the Half-Marathon), Sierra Michaelis (Star basketball player at Mercer High then University of Missouri Tigers) and others illustrate the relationship of farm and small town life to sports success. Get ready for an episode with tractors, buckets and Daisy Dukes!!

Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.
