 The Golden State Valkyries' very first season came to an end last night at the SAP Center in San Jose, where they were knocked out of the playoffs by the number one Minnesota Lynx. California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii just came out with a set of joint vaccine guidelines that say anyone six months and older can get a COVID-19 or flu shot. It's a good news/bad news story for Bay Area salmon fishermen. So many fish were caught during the first weekend of Fall recreational fishing this month that state officials are closing the rest of the 2025 season.
