 Congressman Bennie Thompson is calling for a federal investigation into the death of a Black student at Delta State University who was found hanging from a tree on Monday. However, local law enforcement has so far stated that they do not suspect foul play. Trey Reed's body was discovered near central campus at approximately 7:05 a.m. by a staffer.
