Seeing a need for stone restoration in the market, Jim started Surface Savers in 2008 as a sole owner/operator. Since then, Surface Savers has been in over 15k homes in need of restoration service. In 2014, Jim created the Quartz Renew brand of polishing products for quartz countertops, which is sold to the trades for saving counters from replacement due to damage. Since that time, Jim has become a mentor and trainer for fabrication shops throughout the country, saving them thousands per year. After 25 years in the business, Jim has insight into the challenges homeowners face with different types of stone, knowing the "do's and don'ts" when living with one of the single most expensive options in a home, countertops.
