Hi brothers and sisters, I just wanted to share a devotional that the Museum of the Bible shared on the Bible app.

Isaiah 40 is a chapter of comfort and hope. It was written for people living in the shadow of exile, weighted down by the consequences of sin and the fear of what lay ahead. He stated this verse means people are not permanent, but temporal. Base your life and your ultimate hope in GOD and not the people around you.

Isaiah Chapter 40: Verse 8 states The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.

This is the turning point. While everything around us is temporary, God's Word is unshakable and external. His promises never expire.

His truth never becomes outdated. His voice still speaks comfort and strength today, just as it did then.

Closing Words:

As we wrap up today’s reflection, let’s remember this: everything around us changes. Seasons shift. People come and go. Even our emotions rise and fall. But the Word of God? It stands firm. It doesn’t fade. It doesn’t expire. It’s the one thing you can build your life on and know it won’t crumble.

So if you’re feeling uncertain, unstable, or overwhelmed—anchor yourself in His Word. Let it be your foundation when everything else feels temporary.

Closing Prayer:

Now. Clear your mind settle your heart, deep breath in deep breath out. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your eternal Word. In a world that withers and fades, Your truth remains. Help us to hold tightly to what You’ve spoken, to trust in Your promises, and to live with confidence that You are unchanging. Let Your Word take root in our hearts and guide us through every season. In the mighy name of Jesus’ name, and all his people said Amen.

Final Encouragement:

Take a moment today to read one verse, write it down, and carry it with you throughout your day. Let it remind you that while everything else may shift, God’s Word will never fail.

Thanks for joining me. May His Word be your anchor, your light, and your peace. Until next time my brothers and sisters, If no one has told you today, you are so AMAZING and so deeply loved. I love you, and Jesus loves you more. May you go in Grace and Peace today.
