In which Bethanie and Daurie discuss the season 2 premiere of Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure!
Part 1
Summary:
Twenty-five years ago, Quirin and the warrior Adira served King Edmund, whose kingdom was consumed by Black Rocks. After failing to destroy the magical Opal, the king tasked them with hiding it forever.
In the present, Rapunzel leaves Corona on her first adventure with Eugene, Cassandra, and friends, following the Black Rocks’ trail. Eugene plans to propose, but Rapunzel accidentally finds out. Before they can talk, they're sidetracked by a stowaway and dwindling supplies.
In Vardaros, now a shady city, Eugene and the others are captured by thugs working for the Baron, a crime lord—and father of Stalyan, Eugene’s ex-fiancée. The Baron demands Eugene marry Stalyan or let his poisoned friend Lance die.
Meanwhile, Adira confronts Rapunzel, revealing knowledge of her magical hair. As Rapunzel rushes to save Eugene, Stalyan questions whether Rapunzel would truly give up her freedom to be with him.
