Life is about one thing - pleasing God (2 Cor. 5). Whether present in the body or at home with the Lord, our aim stays the same. Pastor unpacks how to break free from people-pleasing and live with holy focus: fear God, serve with sincerity(not eye-service), and do the will of God from the heart.

We’re reminded that God saved us to save others - He’s entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation. That means renewing our minds (Rom. 12:2), pursuing sanctification (1 Thess. 4:3), and relying on grace when we feel weakest (2 Cor. 12:9). Soldiers don’t get tangled in civilian affairs (2 Tim. 2:4); they work with purpose. So we work hard to persuade others, not to perform, but because love compels us. Rest is holy, but quitting isn’t.

Practical checkpoints:

• Which choice makes me more like Jesus?

• Which path makes me rely most on God?

• What brings others closer to Him and gives Him the most glory?

Lean in for a faith-stirring call to bold obedience, quiet integrity, and daily courage. Receive fresh grace to study the Word, carry the gospel, and keep going—heart first, eyes on Jesus - until every step says, “My aim is to please Him.”
