In the latest installment of the legendary "Backyard Brawl," West Virginia came away with a dramatic 31-24 overtime victory over Pitt on Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. The game was a classic, with a back-and-forth battle that saw momentum swings and a wild finish. West Virginia started strong, jumping out to an early 14-3 lead. However, Pitt fought back, and after a series of critical turnovers and big plays, they appeared to take control of the game. The Panthers' offense, led by quarterback Eli Holstein, scored 21 unanswered points to take a commanding 24-14 lead in the fourth quarter. But the Mountaineers refused to quit. They methodically moved down the field, and running back Tye Edwards punched in a one-yard touchdown to give the Mountaineers a 31-24 lead.
