Some looters looted cows of a Brahmin. The Brahmin came to the palace of Paandavs and cried for help. All the weapons of Paandavs were kept at a place where Yuddhishthir was spending time alone with Draupadee. Violating their privacy was punishable. However, Arjun decided to walk in to pick up his bow and arrows. Arjun was able to overpower the looters and get the Brahmin’s cows back. As per the agreed rule, Arjun decided to depart from Indraprasth and go to forest for twelve years. His first stop was Gangadwar or Haridwar. At Haridwar while bathing in Gangaa, he was kidnapped by Uloopee, daughter of Naag king. The two married for a night and parted thereafter. (Mahabharat/Aadiparv/Arjunvanvaas Parv/Chapters 212-213).
