Six individuals find themselves trapped within a surreal, ever shifting library. With no recollection of the lives, they led up to this point, they’re left to wander the winding stacks in the hopes of finding a way back. Unbeknownst to them however, an enigmatic and immutable Narrator watches over them here, unyielding in the stories he is compelled to tell—And the endings that come with them.

DEADWOOD tells several different stories through various horror subgenres featuring immortal entities, eldritch gods, and ghosts both literal and metaphorical. Some stories are more standalone than others, but all of them have themes of grief, betrayal, familial love, hope, identity, and survival while also having their own perspective on queerness, mental illness, and what it means to be different when the world dies around you.
