Salmonella can cause serious and sometimes fatal gastrointestinal and systemic infections in young children, elderly persons, and others with weakened immune systems. Affected eggs sold are under the brand names Country Eggs, Nijiya, Golden Yolk, Nagatoshi Produce, and Misuho with sell-by dates from July 1, 2025 through September 18, 2025.
These contaminated eggs have been sold in California and Nevada.
