This organism can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. In healthy individuals, it may cause high fever, severe headache, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, and it can also result in miscarriages or stillbirths among pregnant women. Affected are Peas and Carrot lot 110625 and Mixed Veggies lot 170625.
These frozen vegetables were sold in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Florida between July 18 and August 4, 2025.
