Parents At Showcase what to Know! From a former Scout, Recruiter, and Coach... Experience #4
Parents at showcases – ATTENTION!This is important! Coaches are there to scout talent, and they need space and focus to watch athletes play. Parents should stay off the backstop and out of the baselines – let the game speak for itself. Your presence in restricted areas can be a distraction and might hurt your athlete's chances.Athletes – be a great teammate! Whether you're in the game or on the bench, support your squad. Cheer loudly, stay positive, and lead by example. Coaches notice more than just talent – they watch body language, attitude, and how you treat your teammates. And don’t be afraid to reach out to coaches! Send respectful emails, texts, or make a phone call – but always double-check that it's okay to do so. Make a connection the right way!👉 Like, comment, and subscribe for more tips on how to stand out the right way at showcases.#collegecoaches #baseballshowcase #softballrecruiting #showcasetips #recruiting101 #sportsparents #teamfirst #goodteammate #respectthegame #recruitingadvice #baseballrecruiting #softballshowcase
