Speaking of cocktails, today Ben is drinking a Next Word while Matthew is drinking a Married in June. Recipes below.
Next Word- 1 oz Gin
- 1 oz Green Chartreuse
- 1 oz Apricot Liqueur
- 1 oz Key Lime juice
- Combine all in ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with brandied cherries or dried apricot.
Married in June
- 1 3/4 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur
- 3/4 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 barspoon simple syrup (optional)
- 1 Dash Peychaud’s bitters
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake untill well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel or maraschino cherry (preferably Luxardo).
