このコンテンツについて
Ryan is joined by Dr. David Mego, a native Pittsburgher, to talk all things Pirates. Ryan recounts his 2024 family trip to see PNC Park, while Dr. Mego recalls taking his would-be wife to a Pirates game at Three Rivers Stadium many years ago, and believing a Willie Stargell home run to be a sign that it was meant to be! It was a timely episode to record, as the Pirates relieved their manager Derek Shelton just prior to recording. Dr. Mego, who watches every Pirates game on MLB.TV, believes interim manager Don Kelly will have the respect of the Pirates players, as he's not far removed from his playing days. The two reminisce about Pirates from Jeff King to Mike LaValliere to Jason Kendall, and wonder if the team will do what it takes to sign Paul Skenes long-term. Youth correspondents John and Edie Glanzer give their two cents on all important Pirates matters.
