I found this book very helpful!!

As a person who suffers from anxiety, I find this book to be really helpful to me. This is a great book for people with anxiety problems.I found a therapist would work better. You need a coach to help you through this book. Highly recommend this book.This is extremely helpful for anxiety.I would recommend this book to anyone curious about anxiety and how to deal and treat it.

Really helpful for anxiety!!!

I have terrible anxiety from a car accident where I was clinically dead for a short time. My anxiety is crippling at times. Medicines do not help. I was excited to see this book and have tried some of the exercises which have helped.These tools have put the power back in my hands. Great book for anyone struggling to cope with anxiety

Wonderfully Surprised.

I find this book insightful. Not many people understand depression or other mental conditions. For people who suffer these conditions, it is hard to find ways to cope. I myself deal with anxiety and stress. I do not know how to manage my thoughts and feelings well. This book really helps for people like me who are seeking help. It is about time to have a book that truly understands and explains the importance of careful and mindful thinking. I truly enjoyed reading Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: 7 Steps to Freedom from Anxiety, Depression, and Intrusive Thoughts.

A must listen for anyone dealing with anxiety.

There are enough positive reviews of this book explaining why it is so good, so I won't make it long. I'll just say this is one of the most useful books I've ever read. After 2 years of commitment and consistent practice I can say my life is much easier and I am a happier person. This is a good workbook if you have anxiety, or if you're a professional mental health worker. I am both. I am a mental health therapist who has also suffered from panic disorder. This book was recommended to me by my therapist and I can see why. Its been helping me tremendously with my anxiety and panic attacks.

I myself deal with anxiety and stress. I do not know how to manage my thoughts and feelings well. Happiness is in the quality of your thoughts. If you can change your thoughts, you can change your life. And that's exactly what this book teaches you how to do. This book is short enough and straight forward, so I would recommend reading the book first and then rereading it and practice the exercises that it describes. One exercise I tried was I attempted to challenge my own core beliefs.

If you or someone you know is having a hard time with their anxiety, this book will help. My therapist recommended me getting it because I kept googling every symptom I had and listen other people’s scares started to scare me. Wonderful book !!

There is resistance for many to believe that the food one eats and digests influences their mood and/or anxiety. Many often think the anxiety is 'just me' when in fact it not 'you,' it is how your body is receiving and assimilating nutrients that influence and often cause anxiety.Very nice book. As the other reviews have stated this is really just a mash-up of other diet plans and philosophies that are out there but it is nice to see them put in one book!!!

Interesting and full of useful information!!!

Take control of anxiety!!!

This is helping me. It was recommended by my psychiatrist. Working through the exercises does give me anxiety, so I only work on it a little at a time.As someone who has dealt with depression and anxiety most of my life, I found this book to be wonderful. It gave me different aspects to think about in regards to mental health.

Simply Amazing!!!

I love this book and it could not have come at a more perfect time in my life! I have been living out of my comfort zone lately doing more public speaking and feeling a bit anxious. This book has given me the tools to bring more peace and calm into my life and move forward with love.The book offers simple yet powerful ways we can heal core wounds to find pure Divine Love underneath it all, trust our Selves, and set our Sacred Spirits free!!!!

Seriously Life Changing

I'm so looking forward to implementing the exercises in this book. What a book it is! The cd is also an amazing tool to have at your disposal. I have suffered from anxiety and abnormal heartbeats for over 26 years now. I have been to so many doctors through the years looking for answers as to why I have this terrible air hunger. I have anxiety and panic attacks and am always looking for ways to help myself control them. I have read a few books about the Buteyko Breathing Method and I knew this book included more information about this method, so I bought it.

This book helped me a lot when I needed it most!!!

This book gave me new ideas and tips on how to face my anxiety. Whether you have a little anxiety or a lot...this is a must read. The only thing that concerned me was that a Christian author would recommend going to any "higher power" The book is a great tool to help you understand what a person goes through with anxiety and panic attacks. Jodi has lived with it and conquered it. A must read if you are going through this yourself or to understand what a loved one is going through.

good book.

This was a helpful and informative book. I suffered with panic attacks when I was in college and I wish it would have been around back then. The book contains a lot of information about intrusive thoughts, which myself and millions of other people deal with on a daily basis. The author makes it very clear that we shouldn't avoid situations that tend to trigger our intrusive thoughts because doing so will only serve to create even more anxiety surrounding the situation and make it worse. Happiness is in the quality of your thoughts. If you can change your thoughts, you can change your life. And that's exactly what this book teaches you how to do.

Changing Lives, one life at a time!!!

A valuable book that has quieted my own fearful ego so that I can make space to embrace more peace and love. A clear and concisely written book that uses in a very approachable way. The author uses activities to help me understand the concepts that feels practical and helps to reinforce the teachings Getting to know myself is one of the the greatest gifts I've ever given myself and From Anxiety to Love is definitely an important part of that journey. Throughout the book there are opportunities to meditate and reflect with mantras, reflective questions and journal prompts.

Excellent book for anxiety.

This is not a self help book and author states that. So if you want a how to better yourself, this is not it. However, if you have anxiety and feel you are alone or that your partner just doesn't get it this book might be for you. It made me laugh and think yep, that's me or that i wasn't alone. Worth the read as it is funny. Ok, this book was so much fun to read! It's short and sweet. I listen it in one sitting and found myself laughing out loud throughout, and my kids kept asking me what was so funny.

Very good listen quality.

I think this is a great book to help a person address anxiety issues, including various strategies and tools. While I do not suffer from anxiety myself, my mother has almost crippling anxiety, and I plan to use the information in this book to try to help her back to a more healthy perspective This book is very well written and robust in it's scope. I have suffered from anxiety for years, and I found the information in this book to be both relevant and easily accessible. I recommended this book I love so much this book.

This book will change your life!!!

I am a practicing counselor that has struggled with low level anxiety forever. . This book offers practical solutions to some situations and can be a useful tool in coupling with either therapy, your doctor or self improvement. Iftem times we buy books like this to have them just incase of the dreaded panic attack. You may never read it. This one is not an expensive paper weitlght. You will actually want to know. I am a practicing counselor that has struggled with low level anxiety forever. In 2010 panic attacks set me back and made me reevaluate a lot of my life. I got passed the panic attacks through therapy but the low level anxiety persisted.

This Book Is A Total Game Changer!!!!

I suffered from social anxiety and Pyroluria for years, without even knowing that there was a name for my condition. The tips in this book along with the suggestions for the proper amino acids to take for it changed my life. I feel so much better now. This book is amazing, everyone should listen it whether they have anxiety or not, as it covers so many aspects of diet, nutrition and supplements. It is very encouraging - rather than berate yourself for not being able to get off sugar, try amino acid support for those cravings - a great paradigm shift away from shame around diet.

Anxiety is our enemy. This will help aleviate.

I had no idea that diet was so closely related to mental processes until I read this book! I've been feeling worse since starting grad school and I suddenly realized with the help of this book that it's because I've been eating really badly. Now I feel prepared to make better choices for myself! This book is insightful, detailed & empowering. Everyone on a keto,paleo,aip diet will especially appreciate it. But this book should be read by everyone regardless! U might just find the answers that ur doctors can’t give u. I will be trying out a few recipes this weekend. I'll try to remember to report back on them! I’ve been looking for something to give me a game plan for addressing these issues and this book explains where to start looking and why.

A Truly Helpful Guide to Inner Peace.

This book, this author speaks to me, to my neediness and brokenness. The feelings of panic, the feelings of fear. I relate to all of them. She relates in a very easy, understandable way how she walked out of this fearful place. She relates panic attacks, I have had those so bad, I could not even remain in the grocery store buying food. I had teens and would sign a check and have them continue buying our weekly food. I feel so lucky to have found this book. I never realized how much of my self-hate and anxiety was coming from a place of fear and how much I allowed others' perceptions to shape my own.
