A Thomas Troward Collection
Narrated by Denis Daly
Thomas Troward was a divisional Judge in British-administered India, who had a particular interest in the study of comparative religion. The major influence on his thinking, as well as on his writing, was the Bible, although he also considered the elements of ancient Mesopotamian religions, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism in his deliberations.
After his retirement from the judiciary in 1896, Troward applied himself to the study of cause and effect in the spiritual realms using the principles of judicial investigation. From his investigations he developed a self-improvement discipline which he named Mental Science.
Troward's fundamental proposition was that there are invariable laws that govern the universe on both a physical and a spiritual level, and that an understanding of these laws can bring success and power to the earnest student.
This collection contains all of Troward's major writings.
1) The Edinburgh Lectures on Mental Science
2) The Doré Lectures on Mental Science
3) The Creative Process in the Individual
4) The Law and the Word
5) The Hidden Power and Other Papers on Mental Science
6) The Years 1914 to 1923 in Bible Prophecy
7) Bible mystery and Bible meaning
