Even though she will be missing Christmas at home, perhaps she can enjoy the holiday with her new family.
The problem is, Marissa has no idea how to cook or clean, much less run a household. Fortunately, however, she loves to read and has brought a collection of books to help her learn. But books cannot teach her everything, and Marissa struggles at first to be the wife William Johnson needs. To make things worse, William had neglected to tell her that he had a child, and Marissa has no experience being a mother.
