あらすじ・解説
Kathryn Wittner has made a mess of everything. Her father calls her disobedient, rebellious, and even evil. Kathryn supposes he’s right and isn’t surprised when she’s banished from the house before Christmas. Yet all she really wants is to fit in - to be loved for who she is. Unfortunately, she’s gone about it in the completely wrong way and is now suffering the consequences. And she’s not the only one suffering - so is her sister, her sister’s beau, her mother, and a tiny newborn baby.
Help comes to Kathryn through a totally unexpected, and at first, totally unwanted, friendship with a Mennonite man. Isaiah shows her a truth she’s never before seen or experienced. Soon, she is rethinking her complete rejection of God and her Amish roots.
But she fears she’s too late. Is it truly possible to redeem such a huge mess? Is there truly hope for her this Christmas?
