American oil money is let loose in the opulent social circles of Edwardian England as wealthy heiress Anne Randolph arrives in search of a financially vulnerable duke to marry for his title. Anne’s ruthless mother Martha is obsessed with the British aristocracy and will deploy any means necessary to see her daughter become a duchess. 

An accomplished equestrian, Anne makes a bold debut on the Beaumont Hunt and shows up the Lady Adelaide on her own estate. Intimacy and intrigue are stirred as Adelaide and her lover Lady Louise try to marry off Louise’s brother Robert, Duke of Manchester to Anne in order to secure the financial future of their family estate Houghton Hall after Robert’s gambling debts place all in jeopardy.

Female lust, power, and persuasion play out in an erotic drama where all try to satisfy their social and fleshly cravings at any cost.
