Don't Be an Idiot あらすじ・解説

What motivates you? Are you a fixer, an investor, a helper, a keeper, a leader, a harmonizer, or an explorer?

Thomas Erikson’s multi-million-copy bestselling classic Surrounded By Idiots taught the world HOW we act. This book will help you understand WHY we act. Understanding behavior is transactional, but understanding your motivations can be truly transformational.

These seven motivational drivers, each with their own agenda, can determine not only the roads we take in life but the way we navigate the terrain at any moment. Most of us are led by one or two of these drivers in a unique, dynamic combination. When we authentically align our actions with our true drivers, it can turbo-charge our lives; but if there is dissonance, we struggle.

Thankfully, lasting change can come when we tame our drivers to become guides rather than dictators. Starting with your very own test to discover what drives you, Thomas helps us to start identifying our drivers in order to become more self-aware, restore balance and find fulfillment in ways that serve both ourselves and those around us. It’s not knowing how you act but why you act that sets you free.
