President Putin is determined to start a war and regain some territories lost following the breakup of the Soviet Union. NATO is desperate to preserve peace.

With the sporting world focused on Russia for the forthcoming World Cup, Putin believes he can start putting his tyrannical plans in place.

In desperation, the British Intelligences' best agent flies out to Moscow under the disguise of a comic book writer conducting research for a new character called Shadow Informant.

His actual intention is to meet up with a former lover who may have crucial information for him.

Set against the backdrop of the World Cup in Russia in 2018, and the geopolitical money laundering and betrayal, this thriller lays out a scenario that is totally plausible and may indeed have happened.
