The Sons of the Storm

Stormbound follows Magnus Björnsson, a sixteen-year-old boy from modern Norway who begins the story feeling weak, humiliated, and powerless. After being beaten to death in an alley by orks, he awakens in Norskheimr, a brutal mythic realm within the wider War for the Adamite Throne universe. There he is thrown into a harsh LitRPG-style system of levels, rage, weapons, monsters, and survival, guided by a sharp-tongued talking wolf named Krieg.

The Wolf Ascendant is a grim Norse LitRPG fantasy and Book Two of the Sons of the Storm Trilogy, set in 672 AC within the War for the Adamite Throne universe. It continues the story of Magnus Björnsson, no longer just a frightened outsider trying to survive Norskheimr, but a young warrior who has begun to attract the attention of gods, giants, wolves, and storms alike. The book makes its direction clear from the start: Book One was the forging, but Book Two is the ascent. Magnus is no longer only surviving pain — he is becoming something the north has not seen in a very long time.

The endless winter tightening its grip upon Norskheimr, Magnus returns to a battered Stormhold only to discover that the true war has never been against giants alone. Beneath the ancient fortress lies the Hall of Storms, a forgotten sanctuary built by the first Storm Kings to imprison a force older than the gods themselves. As long-buried truths emerge, Magnus learns that the Frost King was once a noble ruler, the First Storm King was never the flawless hero of legend, and the greatest evil threatening the Nine Realms was born not from malice, but from mankind’s own ambition.
