The Progeny of Devils

The adult children of monsters, boogeymen, and devils are being hunted. Unaware of who their parents are and with no idea why they’re being hunted, they need to explore the terrifying world from where they were born.

Always feeling different and out of place, Celina Davenport clings to the status quo in an effort to feel normal. Her comfort shatters when she receives a mysterious email claiming to have information regarding her birth parents, whom she knows nothing about. Against her better judgment, Celina agrees to meet the author and discovers it’s her long-lost twin sister. Before she can get the answers she seeks, she witnesses her sister get shot in the head.

Terrified and confused, Celina is thrust outside her comfort zone as she investigates her sister’s life. Along the way, she discovers an assassin’s kill-list with a series of random names, including hers. Hoping for answers that might save her from ending up like her sister, Celina travels to various cities across the country and tracks down other people on the list. Who created the list and why? What does she have in common with the others on the list? Does it have anything to do with the terrifying secrets she’s learning about her birthparents?

Celina must convince a venture capitalist, a punk rock singer, an art-gallery manager, a high school student, and a grifter to find a common interest in survival and time is running out. Can this odd group of strangers discover why they’re being hunted before they are crossed off the list?
