Why this edition?

Many editions of Pilgrim’s Progress keep the 17th-century language completely intact, making it difficult for modern listeners to follow Bunyan’s thought. This Reader’s Edition removes unnecessary barriers while honoring every essential feature of Bunyan’s pastoral heart—his urgency, his imagery, his Scripture-saturated insight, and his deep concern for the soul’s journey toward the Celestial City.

Whether you’re listening to Pilgrim’s Progress for the first time or returning to a beloved classic, this edition offers renewed clarity without losing the richness that has inspired Christians for generations.

Rediscover John Bunyan’s masterpiece in a fresh yet faithful presentation—and walk the narrow road with Christian, Christiana, and the countless pilgrims who have journeyed before you.
