The Orbits of Love

To cross the universe for love, he must break the ultimate law.

Eric Kalam is safe on the advanced planet of Jorda, nursing a broken heart by burying himself in his work upgrading interstellar star-flyers. He has no interest in the rest of the galaxy—until a single photograph of an Earth woman changes everything. Mesmerized by her smile, Eric feels an undeniable pull that he cannot ignore. But there’s a catch: the Neutral Universe Station strictly forbids advanced citizens from contacting lower planets. The punishment for breaking the law? Lifetime imprisonment.

On Earth, Karissa is picking up the pieces after the people closest to her vanished without a trace. Struggling with a deep fear of abandonment, she has built up walls to protect her heart. When a charming, mysterious stranger named Eric suddenly appears in her life, those walls begin to crumble. For the first time, she feels safe enough to love again.

But secrets can only stay hidden for so long. When a ruthless alien enemy threatens to destroy Earth, Eric is forced to take to the skies in a desperate battle for survival. Will the law of the universe tear them apart forever, or can love truly bridge the distance between two worlds?
