The Legends of Baelon

A shadowy and violent guild of thieves. A widowed woman who sees the future. A noble guard gone rogue.

Tragedy mars the life of King Axil of Aranox. His daughter, Princess Lewen, dies in an accident her guards could have prevented. Devastated, Queen Isadora plummets to her death and the king is left to grieve them both.

In the far-off Lawless Lands, the Takers’ Guild plots further misfortune for the beleaguered king. It plans to kill him and replace him with leadership far easier to corrupt and control.

But there is no honor among thieves. The scheming and ambitious Raggett Grymes has designs on a higher position in the Guild and is willing to kill for it. His bumbling machinations threaten to derail their plans. Overseer Reynard Rascall and his lethal sidekick, Spiro, are hot on Raggett’s heels, leaving a long trail of murders in their wake.

Widow Mari Dunn is an unlikely figure to counter the plot against the king. But her dreams have a habit of coming true, much to the chagrin of her daughter, Sibil. When she foresees the Guild’s attempt on King Axil’s life, the pair find themselves drawn into a dangerous game.

For Rolft Aerns, the royal guardsman who failed to prevent the princess’ death, the plot against the king provides a path to redemption.

Six Moons, Seven Gods is a multiple POV dark fantasy tale of intrigue, conspiracy, prophecy, and the fight to retain one’s honor in a world where merciless and bloodthirsty thieves hold great power. For fans of complex politics, rich world-building, sparkling dialogue and flawed characters.
