The Hands of Aldulan

A thousand years after Aldulan's mistake, the dead are marching and the world has run out of time. In Arioc, the great wizard Aldulan is remembered as legend. But the catastrophe he left behind is waking in the dark. Suggradath, King of Demons, has gathered an army of hellspawn to break into Termeydiun and drown mortal lands in blood. Against him stands an unlikely band: Gadras, a ranger with more courage than certainty; Ang Saroth, a deadly warrior carrying secrets of her own; wizards, thieves, plainsmen, and broken souls forced into a fellowship none of them asked for.

Nearly a thousand years after the legendary wizard Aldulan’s death, his greatest mistakes have come back to haunt the world of Arioc. From the lightless depths, demons claw their way to the surface—led by Suggradath, King of Demons, who hungers for nothing less than the annihilation of humankind. As the armies of hell march, only a ragtag fellowship of wizards, warriors, thieves, and plainsmen stands between hope and oblivion.

Gadras Woundwing, Ang Saroth, Wrait Setis, and the battered company of Holders sail for the Isle of Dusk in search of the pieces needed to rebuild the Clock of Aldulan. Without it, the coming war may swallow kingdoms, cities, and every fragile hope they carried out of the capital. But the Isle is no ordinary destination. Its shores shift. Its history rewrites itself. Beneath its haunted ruins lie worldstones tied to earth, wind, and fire, relics powerful enough to open the way to the abyss-or return a fallen god to power.

The war for Arioc ends in Malifess. Suggradath, King of Demons, has survived the impossible. Broken, wounded, and trapped in mortal flesh, he gathers the armies of Malifess for one final invasion of Termeydiun. The Holders have paid for every step of their quest in blood. Gadras Woundwing carries the worldstones beneath his skin and the terrible power of the Wish in his soul. Rayn fights to save a city already cracking beneath the weight of old sins. Ang Saroth and Wrait Setis face the monsters that have haunted them across the sea.
