It was only supposed to be a simple intelligence boost–a routine procedure to make the lovebot better company outside of the bedroom. And then something went wrong.

Whether it’s the assassins out to collect a bounty, or Björn Thorson–that pitiless zillionaire with an unhealthy god complex–the hunter has now become the hunted. But no one is more eager to make the kill than Lance the rogue lovebot. He has it in his plasma gel brain that Charlie has committed a crime against him that can only be corrected through a bloody act of vengeance. The ensuing chase will propel both man and mandroid on a test of survival into their own hearts of darkness, as well as the dark soul of the failing humanity from which they both were born.
