Snog Team Six

A princess trapped in a high tree and a brash young man determined to “rescue” her; a devoted daughter searching for a magical spring to save her ailing father; a teenage girl who is forced to replace her mobile phone with a machete to protect her family from zombies - all their stories interweave in a stirring alchemy set in a rich African backdrop.

Liam Reilly is an unattached, occasionally delinquent, teenage ward of the state. He lives in a university workshop. He rides a bike made of bamboo. His best friend is an AI named Eiann. Oh, he’s a genius, too. Liam is content with his life, until a demon named Narvicous Scalegrim Gorgonzola Grimmold Maximus the Terrible (Gerald for short) appears in his workshop eating Cheez-Its and twerking to Cardi B.

Troy Thurston, frat boy trying to redeem himself, is thrust into another zombie outbreak in Darjeeling province (at least this outbreak wasn't his fault). Now he is being chased by zombie elephants, tigers, and . . . squirrels? It may be his job to transport a SEAL team in a high tech stealth helicopter, but they don't like him very much and seem more likely to toss him out. To the south, Jax Spanner’s study abroad trip in Kolkata has gone off the rails.

Liam Reilly was an outcast. Then he made friends with Jeanie, Mitchell, Jax, and Esmeralda and they did nothing less than save the world from a zombie apocalypse. Nowadays they watch the Bachelorette and eat tater-tots.That is, until Liam is trapped in an alternate reality that looks a lot like an old western, except with laser canons, roller coaster trains, and talking frogs.

It’s Kolkata. It’s a zombie outbreak. It’s the end of the world. The only ones who can stop it are five nerds, their former frat-boy frenemy, and a splintered Indian goddess who likes Looney Tunes and tossing pianos at other angry gods. Liam, Mitchell, Jeanie, Jax, Esmeralda, and Troy will have to face down intergalactic and inter dimensional dangers if they want their loved ones to survive (not to mention their lovely planet). Friends and enemies, old and new, will emerge to offer help, sabotage, or both. It’s adventure fueled by Pop-Tarts, Cheez-Its, chevda mix, and Lucky Charms.
